brothers and sisters, good day to you all. its being quite a while now. hope everyone is doing great.

back to the point. are all sins equal? most often than not ,a lot would say yes whether adultery, stealing or even lying ,all carry the same level of intensity. well am not saying its right or wrong cos after i read John 19:11, i concluded that some sins are greater than others as well, demanding greater consequences of its action.

but i want you guys pleeeeease read that verse john 19:11 ,and comment on this. i will expecting a number of comments.

Very nice topic to think about, but at the same point, you cannot argue the fact that the bible clearly does state that the wages of sin is death. The bible also does say that for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

No matter if one sin is worse than the other in the eyes of God, one fact still remains, we ALL have sinned, even if it is big, small, or if they are all the same in the eyes of God. Because of which we all deserve to go to hell. I personally do not care how big or small a sin is, what I care about is that I have sinned ya know?

Your are right Rasmus916 , if we are Christian we can not have any agreement with sin , sins sere parent us from god and small sin o big sin will take us to hell and for god eyes dosent have size of sin all sin take us to hell. So let's keep own life in the way god wants and make sure we are going to heaven .

Welcome back Neuroglia!

Very interesting post!

Just bear in mind,
there are MANY abominable sins.

"And he[Jesus] said unto them,
Ye are they which justify yourselves before men;
but God knoweth your hearts:
for that which is highly esteemed among men
is abomination in the sight of God."

Luke 16:15

We also have to keep in mind...

Our sins are not hidden to God,
although they may be hidden to others,
although they may be hidden
to those who committed them.

Proverbs 6: 16 - 19:
"These six things doth the LORD hate:
yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
A proud look, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,
feet that be swift in running to mischief,
A false witness that speaketh lies,
and he that soweth discord among brethren."

THE CASE OF THE WOMAN "CAUGHT" IN ADULTERY

So when they continued asking him,
he lifted up himself, and said unto them,
He that is without sin among you,
let him first cast a stone at her.

John 8:7

10&11th verses says...
Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Then spake Jesus again unto them,
saying, I am the light of the world:
he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12

((( Many of the accusers were guilty of sins which listed above in Proverbs 6:16-19
Jesus didn't condemn her, but He didn't condone the woman's sin.
He told her..."go, and sin no more. Then He simply dismissed court! Case closed!"

Let everyone examine themselves, lay aside the sin, and follow after Jesus!)))
