hoodies have actually been around long before media brought light to alleged 'thugs' using them
thieves also use purses, but the shallow masses havent yet started labeling that particular accessory as thief apparel.... hoodies have been in colleges around the country for years, college fraternities wear them, jocks wear them,,, but we do suddenly have the spotlight put on one particular person who was killed wearing one and it becomes a justifiable profiling measure sad,,but whatever floats peoples boats Im still much more used to and comfortable seeing a man in a hoodie (usually younger people and the less well off) than carrying a 'ladys' umbrella (usually the metrosexual, businessman, or chivalrous partner) when its merely sprinkling outside,,, |
