Well it's the heart that makes one a beast....perhaps it was necessary I do believe that the moral of the fairy tale was indeed that beauty made the beast love her and so stop being a beast. However, when the line is used in King Kong, it should have implied that it was Kong's need to possess the beauty that killed him. |

In what way was Kong a beast? Simone was on the right track with the beast within. Envy, greed, bitterness, resentment, hatred, all of these things erode the soul turning the vessel into a beast. Compassion, kindness, empathy, love...are representative of everything that holds beauty. The question should have been....which one will you let win? Beast or Beauty? |
