I don't kick and don't punch, and I don't fart and I don't shtt between the sheets, and I don't contrive to organize terrorist acts against the country and people during my sleep, but I DO compose my best Scottish bagpipe music during my sleep.

Oh, brother.

...and I don't shtt between the sheets, and...

Heehee... that's very true. In fact, no person in this world EVER shtts between two shtts.

In fact, it would be impossible to do so.

In fact, this realization might be the key to open the secrets of our universe.

I have 2 Cali Kings in my bedroom! I have no idea what that says about me and my sleeping habits, but Pepper the pup loves jumping bed to bed. I have always had very interesting bedrooms that are more like cushion palaces. You find a place you want to crash and go for it. Even had a house with 3 interlinking bedrooms, so you could sleep alone, sleep together, or sleep alone together. In my bedroom right now I have 18 pillows (just counted them). I don't think I have had a traditional bedroom since I was a teenager. I like seeing people comfortable when they sleep, and usually make sure they are well settled before I think about hitting the rak. I'm also a master at decoupling myself from my partner without them knowing in the middle of the night.

Warning: I watch movies, read, write, listen to music, eat, exercise and work in my bed. Yes, my beds usually last a year or two then get replaced. BTW pepper is having a dream now and is barking in her sleep so sssshhhhh!

Different "sleep numbers" can be resolved by a two things called - communication and accommodation.

If it is an issue talk about it. If the relationship is important there is always a Win/Win agreement that can be reached.

I have sleep apnea. Which means I sleep with a mask on. But it can always come off when it needs to.

Right on answer! I know couples that have separate beds or even rooms...
