let me explian why telling a woman to come along works well 1. it takes away the feeling that you on a date you there to have fun and learn more about each other 2. the woman feels as though you are fun and the date did not seem planned. 3. it would be her falut if she didnt like da date cuz she taged along..

It might work for your generation. Personally, I prefer to be asked out, given a choice of some kind as to where we would go. I like the idea of going on a DATE. It is the romance part of it that makes it worth going on. Knowing that the man has enough respect for me to ASK.

I am so sorry for you. There is a lot to be said about romance and the art of dating. Most women I know prefer it over, "Hey you get you butt in the truck, we're gonna go to the bar"

Basically the point I was making was, you said telling them was asking, it isn't. It was basically a reference the thing about the bar. Same idea, just from a redneck standpoint.

i would never "tag" along. if i go out on a date with a guy i want to make sure it is a date and that he wants to take me out...we are not "buds" hanging out with each other. and if i did not have a good time whether it was "my fault" or not- i still would not repeat the get together.
