What do you guys think about this. The 16 year old who was not known as a top swimmer suddenly shattering the world record,beating her personal best by 5 seconds and basically out swimming the top men in the sport. Some people are upset that people are questioning her, but i think in these situations you kind of need to. It would be different if she were a top swimmer and constantly improving her times, bit this isnt the case.

Not as rigorously as you think. Just like how China got underage gymnast in 2000. Don't we check age?.

All I can say if they are not smart enough to test her then the time stands
 simple as that.....

I am all for doing plenty of testing and checking and double checking, but I find it rather sad that so many immediately cry foul and treat it as if it is an impossible situation of some sort. It would not be the first time an athlete has shocked the world in some sport or another.

I don't see anything wrong with performance enhancers. They should let everyone take them.

A five second increase in her swim time is unheard of and unnatural.
