WHO'S UP FOR DATING SOMEONE FROM A DIFFERENT ETHNIC BACKGROUND??

Me, I have always dated outside my race. Love should know no color. It really doesn't matter what color a persons skin is, its the persons character and who they are that counts, not what color their skin is. I think it is still prevalent today to look at skin color and make decisions based on that. Certainly, you will find more interracial dating in some states over others. I know here on the West coast. Interracial dating is very prevalent and acceptable. Georgia? probably another story written on a different page.

Good luck young man in your search for a lady who does not care about skin color. Hey, we have a African American man as president, we are getting there, be it slowly though.

It all depends on the person. If I like the person, I do not see it as a barrier to dating them. Just about everybody is mixed these days that I know anyway. My dad is part native. I just put "white/Caucasian" on forms that ask because it's easier than trying to explain that I am mixed when I look "white".

In the past, I would have said no. Simply because in my experience, the only kind of guys from other races I seemed to attract were chubby chasers. It's fine if that's what you like, but I wont be a fetish for anybody. I am more than just one area. But recently, I have actually met some very intelligent and attractive men who I would like to get to know more. So, yes I would date outside my race if they have some brains and respect in them.

I've dated outside my race before, has nothing to do with race, it's all about the person.

I have dated outside my ethnic background before. I have yet to have sexual relations with anyone outside my background because i live in "white kingdom" now, i wouldn't be opposed to dating outside the "white man" just there aren't any other options here.

I believe there is no direct answer that fits all regarding dating outside your ethnicity, there is a lot more to consider other than the colour of your skin. There can be a cultural, or a religious divide, even down to the type of food we eat, that may not sit easily with one of the partners in the long term if the
dating turns in to a marriage. Assuming of course that the dating has serious intentions in the first place. Would Love conquer all?
