LIBERALS JUMPING IN TO EXPLOIT 'DARK KNIGHT' MASSACRE TO PUSH GUN CONTROL - Within moments of the tragic massacre in Colorado Liberals were swooping in to push their agenda. First they tried to blame the Tea Party then, proving they won't let any "crisis go to waste" as their leader teaches them, they started pushing for the crushing of the Constitution. Case in point, CNN's non-American Piers Mo...rgan is already exploiting 12 deaths and dozens injured to push for gun control, who was closely followed by Liberal mayor Bloomberg who already disregards the 2nd Amendment, and of course there was Michael Moore who couldn't wait to take a pot shot at the country he hates, calling Americans "violent people." Hey Liberal politicians and journalists how about we let America come together and mourn our losses before you politicize this event. Just pathetic!

Disgusting!
Sad we even have Nuts like that running around free!

That goes for Moore and his Gang as well!
They all ought to be locked up together!

well, compared to other western nations

americans ARE pretty violent.....

our love affair with guns in and of itself, kind of implies an obsession with violence

and isnt it the news job to report on events and then commentators job to find talking points about them

they do it whenever a politician speaks
they do it whenever a celebrity couple splits
they do it whenever there is 'fraud', either welfare or corporate

why wouldnt they do it when there is a mass homicide?

They might check to see if he's related to a mentally unstable individual in DC who has drones and kills innocent kids with them.

some things are sacred. reporting on a celebrity couple splitting is not on the same level as reporting on the deaths of innocents.
people don't party in a cemetery, or have sex in a church. would you be upset if someone you cared for died and was embalmed by a necrophiliac

Really strange police action on this. Dude was armed and bullet proffed.
From what I could see of one video, he was escorted out, masked and dressed in black.
As many weapons, including hard to get CS gas and gear he had on, people still exiting the theater, seems funny the police apprehended him without him putting up a fight?
How can people know for sure, with the face and body covered who it was and if the shooter was male?
Did I miss something or did any ya'll see something else?

the news should contain facts about what happened (and should be fact checked as best as possible before airing). entertainment news can be about what someone thinks about gun control, or a violent america, etc. the point was made that the smoke had not cleared from the theater and bias reporting was already happening

my view is that people saw the person in all the gear, police apprehended the person in the parking lot wearing that gear the witnesses saw, and that person at some point in apprehension took off the gear and explained what he had done,,,not to mention being in his own car WITH the weapons,,,

him not putting up a fight just implies to me that he has a mental defect or that he feels justified in what he did

remember, Brevik put up no fight after killing the kids at that youth camp either,,,

We, the public, never saw who the shooter was. He as covered from head to toe. If it was a gov. op. any patsy can be framed and wasted quickly to cover it up.

I'll make a prediction.
Whoever they replaced the shooter with commits suicide while in custody.

Who wants to bet?

thats a pretty big stretch

so someone else ordered all the ammo and explosives for him and had them delivered to his apartment,,,,wore the same gere he was wearing at the same time and place and had him sit in his car that happened to also be filled with weapons,,,,,

..what would have been the purpose?

its a stretch, to say the least,,,

I dont think he will commit suicide, but I do think he is in danger of being killed if not in protective custody or isolation

ABC news had a panel discussion loaded with people who felt it was "obvious" that all semi-automatic rifles and pistols should now be banned. One suggested that all ammunition should be $1000 per shot.

I wonder what they would say if someone was trying impose such restrictions on their freedom of speech?

when has speech directly killed dozens of people?

and has 'speaking' changed since constitution times the way that 'arms' have?

This is why every state needs a right to carry concealed law...if someone in the theater was armed it wouldn't have been as bad I would hope. My thoughts and prayers go out for the victims and wounded.

Even with the tear gas, you're certain someone could have prevented all this from happening?

You ever been in tear gas? It makes me cough a little and isn't bad. Pepper spray to me is worse. Surely some in the crowd have high tolerance to it as well.

Well, glad to hear you have a high tolerance. We don't know that anyone else did, though.

You post a lot of what ifs.
What if it was legal to carry in the theatre baby that would have deterred the gunman from even doing it? We don't know. Just as you don't know what would have happened if several people would have been carrying in the theatre.

You know the guy dyed his hair red and claimed to be the joker. Also he was smiling in his mug shot. He'll even his mom said you have the right guy. Probably mentally disturbed. I foresee some big law firm taking his case for free. It's so high profile there will be lots of media coverage.

The Bill of Rights was not intended to be open to interpretation. You missed the point. If one right is open to attack, they all are.
