But he is implying that the government is responsible and we owe them. That is not the case.

Be wary of a business where the customer works against you half the time! In the pet industry the customer is usually the pet's worst enemy. People think fish are just a bunch of things you keep in a cube of water and you can just pack them all in just because you like a lot of fish in your tank... yep, that's why they will kill and eat each other, or like many doomed house plants die from a lack of or improper care. My favorite is overfeeding to the point the filters get fouled! But they look hungry. My mom has a Chihuahua who I say is the dog version of a fish in that she is "always hungry". But those people make all kinds or work for you. Never mind they are killing fish. I suppose if you don't get attached to the fact they are killing fish and they don't blame you (ya right), that it would be lucrative. |

This BS is failing like President Obama...who just told the private sector that "they did not build their business alone". That went over like a lead balloon in board rooms and offices around the country.
It just happens that Private sector is the only one gaining in employment now......all the others sectors are losing jobs. No according to President Obama....if you use the roads, fly, use the internet.....you are using a government provided service. Hence pay those taxes. He does not mention that the 50% of the country pays 81% of the taxes in the country. That the top 1% makes 40% of the wealth and plays 30% of the taxes. They are the ones paying for the government services. |

But he is implying that the government is responsible and we owe them. That is not the case. Don't be too hard on him Chaz, he really doesn't understand what he is implying...that's what is so sad about the man.... |

So if government and other people are responsible for a business, who's responsible when a business fails? The government and the people? |

I think what Mr Obama was getting at was public roads shipped your goods on roads that are safe from hijackings, things imported from seas safe from pirates. Employees who are educated in public schools, police that protect your investments etc etc. Some people just don't get it and never will. Obama doesn't mention it but 50% of the country pays 81% of the taxes. That the top 1% makes 40% of the wealth and plays 30% of the taxes. They are the ones paying for the government services.Another thing that Mister Obama is not telling ya! |

Obama has never run or owned a business.
His opinion is irrelevant. |

Don't be too hard on him Chaz, he really doesn't understand what he is implying...that's what is so sad about the man.... ? If he doesn't know what he is implying, is he really implying anything, or are people just assuming what they wish? |

He's trying to demonize business owners so he can get elected again and tax the business owners out of business. |

No, people are not assuming what they wish...Obama is implying that when government takes control of the country Americans will be obligated to finance it....He is implying this without having a true understanding of business.... |

Actually I think Obama is saying something completely trivial and
trying to make it sound more important. He says that everyone gets help in various ways. Public and Private. So what big deal. This is obvious. It is therefore almost meaningless and about as useless as admonishing everyone that the sky is blue. What he appears to be missing is that no one is more important to the success or failure of a business than the owner and management. But that was not his rather lame point. It is a rah rah stump speech with little or no substance. Pretty silly actually. Of course, not to be outdone in inanity, Mitt decided to take the rather moronic statement out of context making Mitt look like he is too dumb to understand it or is trying to misrepresent this dumbazs statement to try to make it look even more ridiculous than it already was. They are both a couple of knuckleheads. But Obama is going to win. |

I hope you're wrong...Lot of favorable change for Romney in the electorial college recently and then there is Nebraska this past weekend dashing any hope for a Paul nomination (Somebody had to tell Ron )...If Romney's camp decides they need Paul, he'll join and he does have a lot of support from younger voters...So maybe re-elect is not a shoe-in....But like you said, they're both a couple of knuckleheads..... |

"if you own a business then you did not make it successful, somebody else did." in no world will a woman just create a child out of thin air in no world will one person end up with a successful business in isolation either I know the concept is foreign to many people, and many will dispute it to the death,, but it is actually true that nooone becomes successful ALL BY THEMSELF |

They are both a couple of knuckleheads. But Obama is going to win. everyone does need some type of help and all 'owners' do not contribute the same things so its impossible to make a blanket statement about how much any of them do but its safe to assume none of them 'do it alone' |

I think media has a grand time nitpicking apart every sentence and mishap from a politician, I honestly believe more of them are from fatigue or nerves than are from actual 'stupidity',, but here are a few more
They misunderestimated me." --Bentonville, Ark., Nov. 6, 2000 Rarely is the question asked, is our children learning?” If we don't succeed, we run the risk of failure.» "It is wonderful to be here in the great state of Chicago." "Solutions are not the answer." Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do We spent a lot of time talking about Africa, as we should. Africa is a nation that suffers from incredible disease." Go back to what our founders and our founding documents meant -- they're quite clear -- that we would create law based on the God of the bible and the Ten Commandments "There's an old saying in Tennessee -- I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee -- that says, fool me once, shame on --shame on you. Fool me -- you can't get fooled again |
