Thanks Mark, I think most of us knew they were still in existence. I know I can still see all the thread headings using the "My Topics" link, just can't see the threads themselves.
I do understand about keeping advertisers happy. I've had to deal with that myself on a couple websites I own. It's a tough task, and I hope you can find some way to keep your advertiser and the section. But it's a pretty slippery slope you all are caught on right now. |

We lose the Forum for the sake of advertising. But we still have some advertising some folks find..... offensive? Is this the gist of it?? |

If that whole forum is going to be gone,can we post some of the topics under other forums?Like games or dating?

We will do whatever we can to keep the forum, of course. However, to put it bluntly, we need the ad revenue from Google ads. I just want to be upfront about the situation so as not to get hopes up.
As for moving the more benign topics from the forum in question into others ones, we might be able to to that. Looking into it... |

I only joined recently and had made some friends on this forum,it wasn't full off swearing and extreme sexuaul content but just good adult humour.Why on earth would this be such a problem to ,,as you say google adverts??i mean anyone can google anything they like, including porn sites!!is this double standards from google??

For the time being, at least, the Intimacy & Sex forum is going to have to remain closed. Again, I don't like being the bearer of unfortunate news.
We are, however, moving the topics that are not inappropriate into other forums. We thank you for your understanding through it all. |
