People here don't object to talking about racism. They object to begging the question. It is not enough to simple claim that racism is occurring. You have to provide evidence that racism is occurring.

I guess what I don't understand is why those who are blatantly racist get upset when they're called racist. If you're going to have the balls to say racist things, at least own up to it.

Can I 'prove' that Columubus discovered america other than to point to sources that claim he did? likewise, there is plenty of information I could point people to that makes historical reference to the history of slavery, jim crow, segregation and discrimination that has happened in america I dont think its hard to prove once you define what it is. A race based beief system. That system is intertwined into all areas of our life, because history has set the foundation which requires it.

If you're going to have the balls to say racist things, at least own up to it. those dont concern me as much as the 'nice' ones who are just ignorant of the racial tone of their language and opinions... because they could develop into people of power who carry that logic into decisions that affect others,,,,without ever really being caught on to,,,

I think that totally depends upon how INSULTING they are to the other individuals. People can be racist and CHOOSE when to exhibit their feelings and when not to.

I keep asking you to cite specific examples of "racism in the teeth", and thus far, you have not given any examples. In the USA at least, a party is innocent of a charge until proven guilty. You are making the charge. Thus, it is up to you to prove the charge.

The problem with racism to me is far too many people are way to quick to use the word racist, its been watered down to point that I don't even register it anymore unless it is truly racist.
