Okay I was flipping through channels and landed on
'The Walking Dead' and somehw could not flip past it. It got me. So, can someone tell me at what point in the whole thing I caught it? It was about one sister shooting the other cuz she was bitten by a 'walking dead' person, and they all got to the CDC, and they chained the mean guy to the roof (though when they got back only his hand was there) and the CDC is ready to blow, or self-destruct. Is this the latest, and Sunday is the next sequentially? Krupa says I should not watch it because it gave me nightmares, but the writing is SOOOO good, it is hard to break away. Maybe if I just read about it in here, after the fact I will sleep nights. |

It really is..so unusual but with freaking good writers, they never go for the obvious, I like that. But I also have read here that they kill off peeps you have gotten used to so I don't think I want to go back, I will follow from here. If I get brave enough. I already turn off the sound when it gets, ya know, macabre :-) |

Did anyone notice Shane wearing what looks like Otis' overalls at the funeral? Symbol of guilty conscience maybe, or maybe Im readin too much into it. Shane is usually in fatigues or 'gearwear' other times. Maggie gave Otis's clothes to Shane when he went for the shower where he shaved his head. It was after he returned from the high school where he wounded Otis and left him for the walkers. |

I don't know....visions, both Lori and Shane(in Woodbury), ghostly phone calls...it wouldn't totally surprise me if he ended up a suicide, although I don't think that's what the producers have in mind. I just have a hunch that with all the new people being introduced, some others are going to be dying off here soon. |

The stress was showing in the final episode of season 2 after he killed Shane. With Lori shunning him, and he declaring himself 'dictator', he made keeping the group alive his sole purpose in life. The constant stress of keeping the group safe for so long, and trying to meet their needs, combined with him trying to deal with killing Shane became a great burden. When Lori was killed the stress triggered a breakdown of sorts. Anyway, that's my take on it. |
