If my funeral is full of people laughing about things we have done and memories we have made, then that sounds like my life was Good.

As long as I live longer than the a$$h*le next to me, make more money than the a$$h*le next to me and am smarter than the a$$h*le next to me then I believe that to be a successful life. |

On your deathbed, looking back at your life, do you want to have regrets? What would define a successful life as? I've regretted not seizing the moment but I wouldn't change it. The "ripple effect" (butterfly effect?) would destroy what I have now. A successful life is watching my kids stand on their own with confidence that I taught them how. I think it is too late to find a woman who would love me. there is hope for you! My grandfather remarried at the age of 70, and I know several others who have found love later in life. :) I'm sure you will be one of them! |
