Topic: Christian men dont exist? =/ | |
---|---|
I could be mistaken, but this thread appears to me to be a repeat of the same old story.
A woman claims to want a Christian man, but that is not all that she wants. She will not say what other characteristics she wants a man to have. |

Same old story, yes..
Of course there are other characteristics i want in a man, but first i need to narrow my search down to "christian man" . . . THEN i can add the characteristics and narrow it down more. Dodo_David. Why would you even say that? What did i do? =/ |

If a "Keeper Of Hope" hopes to find an available Christian companion, then one shouldn't complain about not being able to roast marshmallows just because one cannot use fire from a dead dragon, because marshmallows can still be roasted. Send me a private message if you don't understand what I am saying. |

Beware, there are men who play a religious game in order to attract women. |

Honestly the negativity from some posts is really unattractive and I certainly would not be attracted to any christian guy who was not full of faith and hope and love. Just saying, from a woman's point of view. God is a Matchmaker, trust Him!

Honestly the negativity from some posters is really unattractive and I certainly would not be attracted to any christian guy who was not full of faith and hope and love. Just saying, from a woman's point of view. God is a Matchmaker, trust Him! Yup, negativity IS unattractive... Mark 7:5-7 New International Version (NIV) 5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?” 6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. 7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’[a] Whether you find something unattractive or not, the truth is the truth... |

Huh? That post just confuses me. Care to elaborate Peterpan?

The OP, a young, beautiful christian woman asks a simple question. She gets some responses that are not uplifting or encouraging. It even seems she has been targeted by posts that are not only negative, but full of unbelief & doubt. That I find tragic.

Ephesians 4.25 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building each other up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. The OP did not deserve negativity dumped on her.

Meh, Jesus always showed respect to women, even those caught in sin. Pretty basic if you ask me. Love protects.

There are always nay sayers and stone throwers in every corner of the Earth. Your mission, should you accept it, is to find the good ones who have compassion.

Good luck. I am still waiting for one to find me. It would help, I think, if I was available. I am waiting on time...
