President Obama announced that he will travel to the fire-plagued areas of Colorado this Friday to “view the damage and thank the responders bravely battling the fire.”
Obama told Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper and Colorado Springs Mayor Steve Bach about his plan to visit in a phone call this afternoon. Obama called Hickenlooper and Bach “to receive an update on damaging fires that are impacting a number of communities across the state, including the devastating Waldo Canyon fire that is affecting families, homes and businesses in Colorado Springs,” the White House said in a written statement. “The president expressed his concern about the extent of damage to homes in the Colorado Springs area,” the statement read. What a guy. |

He's only doing that for political reasons as Colorado is a swing state.

Of course.
You will soon see a picture of him (a photo op) shaking hands with some lowly fireman probably. Or, (God forbid) a shot of him holding a rescued a dog or deer from the fire. |

I will be sure to post the winning photo Op when I find it. LOL
I can't wait! |

Can't wait to see his ad claiming he single-highhandedly put all those fires out, rebuilt everyone's home for them and put them all back to work.

We have the FBI, the Military, the ATF, and God only know who else here in Colorado fighting this fire.
I bet those 22 Russian special forces started it. |

I heard it was the Muslims.

Of course. You will soon see a picture of him (a photo op) shaking hands with some lowly fireman probably. Or, (God forbid) a shot of him holding a rescued a dog or deer from the fire. I am sure he will take the time for that also. Mostly he is probablly there to get a peek at the City in the Mountain (and the things that are hidden within). |

What a guy. he is human.. do you realize how many people and places are going through 'tragedies' and he certainly cant visit them all anyway, if it ends with some aknowledgement for the area (Which a presidential visit always does) and some public attention, that can only be a good thing for those hurting,,,, |

He's only doing that for political reasons as Colorado is a swing state. I have to disagree. The fact that it is an election year does not mean that everything President Obama does is for political purposes. The President of the USA routinely visits places that have experienced natural disasters. |
