- On this day 224 years ago the US Constitution was ratified. On June 21, 1788 New Hampshire became the 9th state to ratify the Constitution making it the official legal guide for the United States of America. Let us thank those brave and insightful men who wrote the document that has guided our country for the last 224 years. What a shame that some today think it is just a list of recommendations rather than the actual law of the land that it is! God Bless America!

yes thank goodness the founding fathers new they werent Gods and wrote a LIVING Document that could grow with time and adapt to change


so we went from this

(No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, But shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due.)


in the ORIGINAL RATIFIED CONSTITUTION


to this

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction

almost ONE HUNDRED years later,,,,
