Wash the kale well and cut it off the backbone into chip sized pieces. Put oil (olive, coconut, bacon grease...whatever) on both sides and put it on a cookie sheet. Season to taste and cook for 20 minutes at 275, flipping after 10. You can skip the flip if you cook with a cooling rack in your baking sheet.

I love love LOOOOVVVEEE Kale chips. Although I leave mine more whole. Experiment with seasonings too. Thyme and rosemary are really good together. Or garlic infused olive oil! YUM

I leave the leaves whole, I just cut out the thicker stalk end.
