Topic: Login to Mingle2 & then what.....?

What is it that you first do when you login to Mingle2? Do you immeditely go to the forums, do u initiate an IM chat, or you just sit & wait for someone to "knock at your door"?. When i login, i check thru' the mails, invites, view profiles of those that viewed me(though not all), i then head to the forums & look out for the new interesting topics, respond to a few that catch my attention, sometimes post a few topics in the forums especially in my favorite forum ie Christian forum hey by the way, do you guys have favorite forums? ohh! of course i can't forget Dating & Relationships' forum and several others. look at those that viewed me ... answer mail if i have any ... than go back to what I have posted to see if I need to reply to any... then I go to the forums and look to see what is going on in them ... nxt if I feel I want post ...a topic I do so ...

agreed...first I check to see if I got mail...nope, no mail, 'cept for the occasional invite to send monies to Nigeria. then I check to see if anyone has viewed my profile or showed an interest...nope, no one, 'cept an occasional "hi! I am interested in your profile, could you send some monies to me here in Nigeria..." then I weep for a few moments... then I check to see if anyone responded to my recent posts...nope, just crickets... good times!

always check on "who viewed me" then the forums.. i always enjoy reading the diverse and funny conversations on it. :)

1st is i check my mail and who viewed me then go to forums if what is new. now what i see on my mail is dotster sense yesterday. what is this means?

"my topics" first a long while later i check my mails and the other stuff.

When I log in the first things I do is check my mail, views and delete them, nudges delete them....hit the forums....My Topics..... I very rarely ever look at who has viewed me, or who has sent me nudges. I do wish there was a bulk delete for both, though. I just looked now and there are 21 pages of people who have viewed me. She reported with great humility and no trace of self aggrandizement.... lol

Perhaps I'm missing something. What do you guys do to pass the time while you watch the screen waiting for something to happen. I thought about making coffee, but the percolator is in the other room and I would miss it if someone were to match me or send a "nudge."

On a slightly more serious note... Being new I must wonder: are the forums a better venue for finding a companion than the other part of the site? Or are the forums simply so much more interesting that people get drawn in to them and forget the initial reason that they joined the site in the first place?
