Report: Chavez's cancer has 'entered the end stage'

This reporter has been told that Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma, an aggressive cancer that has "entered the end stage". The information and the quote come from a highly respected source close to Chavez and who is in a position to know his medical condition and history. This source says the prognosis is dire and that Chavez is now not expected to live "more than a couple of months at most." Chavez is running for re-elec tion in Venezuela but several sources--including the one who revealed the exact kind of cancer-- have told me that they believe it is doubtful the dictator will live to see the results.

Voting is scheduled for October 7th. Chavez has been treated three times in Cuba but the exact kind of cancer has been a closely guarded state secret.

Reporter's note: There is only one source for identifying the cancer and for the prognosis quoted in the first part of the above story. This is a person whom your reporter has very good reason to trust, but you should know that there is only one source so far; no other immediate confirmation. All sources asked for and were granted anonymity because to reveal their names could place them in danger or, at the very least cost them their positions.

Lot of the poor folks are a bit better off under Chavez. That's what's got the rich folks so riled.

And he even helps the US poor.

Mérida, January 28th 2011 (Venezuelanalysis.com) – Yesterday Venezuela’s Petroluem Corporation, CITGO announced the start of its sixth year providing subsidized heating oil to low-income people in the United States. An estimated 132,000 households across the U.S. will benefit from the program this year, amounting to $60 million dollars worth of savings.

Joseph P. Kennedy II, son of the late U.S politician Robert Kennedy and president of Citizen Energy Corporation, the U.S.-based non-profit organization that partnered with Citgo in 2005 to launch the Citgo-Venezuela Heating Oil Program, spoke at the Citgo ceremony on Thursday.

“Every year, we hear from families who struggle each and every day to put food on the table and heat their homes,” he said.

“We are deeply grateful to CITGO and the people of Venezuela for their generosity... Every year, we ask major oil companies and oil-producing nations to help our senior citizens and the poor make it through winter, and only one company, CITGO, and one country, Venezuela, has responded to our appeals,” he said.

In 2010, an estimated 500,000 people in the U.S. benefited from the program....in 25 states.

Here is why:
The people of Venezuela are rid of a dictator and Chavez can go and be with his hero, Simone Bolivar. It's a win, win deal. And that's good news.

I did not write this but I go along with itdrinker

Hugo Chavez is a modern Fidel Castro. He hasn't embraced socialism as much as Castro (yet) , but he is on his way to nationalizing most of the Venezuelan economy. Perhaps he is on his way to becoming the next president for life as well.

He has nationalized the media (no more CNN or Fox news!), increased taxes on oil companies, and is mobilizing the people in case of a possible US subversion (by US invasion or by Colombian right-wing death squads).

What's your take on Hugo Chavez? Should the CIA tell the Venezulan people what's in their interest? Should the US keep playing the role of daddy warbucks by backing whatever brutal dictatorship that supports US companies?

Why would one want to model his life after Castro? Castro has impoverished his people for over 3 decades. For what? a communist philosophy? His marxist beliefs? They should hang him and better themselves. Just me thinking.
Chavez is popular by his people because so far he is trying to win them over as he has many. If he were to remain, there would be firing squads and human imprisonment like happened in Cuba.
But, other than that, I guess that he is a pretty good chap.

A vast majority of the poor are way better off with Castro than they ever were with Bastista.

Chavez is an elected president. Most of the people love him. The CIA tried to dispose him once and failed their mission. When that happened I said, that they would probably infect him with cancer.

I've been hearing that he has cancer for quite a while, how old is this news article?

The fourth Reich globalists and the CIA probably want him gone so they can get control of his gun and drug trade and install another capitalist money grubbing government that takes advantage of the poor.

Hugo Chavez is like the last High king of Ireland Bryan Boru. After he is gone and the globalists take over, there will only be puppet governments and puppet presidents.

That country is a democracy. And America wants to destroy that democracy and install a puppet.

Good going.ohwell sick
