no the Kids chanced the beach to tomorrow because it was raining maybe I will invite him ;) He is only off on Sunday. well girl...invite him!!  So, are you? But let me ask you this...do you really want to ask a strange man along on an outing with your daughter and grand daughters?? Shouldn't you get to know him a bit first? Don't forget what happened here on Mingle . is that where I went wrong??????????/Meeting my kids was far too traumatic and horrible?Thats why he can't even bare to talk to me? If thats the caseF--k him.They bent over backwards to show him a good time. I was talking about predators ...being around YOUNG children! |

Hi Everyone. I finally have a weekend off. I spent yesterday swimming at my friend Stu's house and he made homemade pizza in his brick oven. It is funny how we met here on Mingle and though it wasn't a love match we became the best of friends. Today I visited my old neighbors and it was nice to sit and chat for awhile. Now I am trying to figure out what to pack for NY for the 4th. I am spending a few days with my boys and my son's girlfriend's family. I have been invited on the grandfather's 60ft yacht to watch the fireworks over Manhattan. It is fun to see how the rich live every once in awhile. What are you all doing for the holiday?

Hi Everyone. I finally have a weekend off. I spent yesterday swimming at my friend Stu's house and he made homemade pizza in his brick oven. It is funny how we met here on Mingle and though it wasn't a love match we became the best of friends. Today I visited my old neighbors and it was nice to sit and chat for awhile. Now I am trying to figure out what to pack for NY for the 4th. I am spending a few days with my boys and my son's girlfriend's family. I have been invited on the grandfather's 60ft yacht to watch the fireworks over Manhattan. It is fun to see how the rich live every once in awhile. What are you all doing for the holiday? Instead of removing the kick-plate on the bottom of the dishwasher and finding god-only-knows-what to clean before laying a tile...I've decided to put the whole thing off until tomorrow.
Instead, I put a "possum pie"in the oven. No possums involved. (That's what I call my version of a fruit pie using whatever I had on hand...this one includes apricots, apples, pears, and about a half a dozen strawberries, spices that look just right and a couple spoonfuls of brown sugar.) It will be delicious. |
