Topic: Will Ron Paul Force Mitt Romney Into a Debate?

It amazes me how truly uninformed the American voter is! How little they actually know of the process, the work, hours, and dedication that goes in to trying to make a change from our "more of the same" system of crony politics, to one of restored freedoms and liberty for all. Not so much a new one, as a return to one that served the people well the 1st 150 years of our independence! Not a return to the old ways, but rather to the old principlals set forth by the constitution. A REVIVAL OF SPIRIT AND PATRIOTISM! Our 2 party system is like a coin, heads or tails, it's the same coin, minted and made with the same metal on both sides! To make it different, you must change the die, and it is never cheap or easy to replace machinery that has been rusted in place, pumping out the same coins, with only the date changing, maybe a face now and then, for years! That is the battle of the Ron Paul Movement! To change the mold, upgrade the machinery, and present a fresh new coin to the public. THIS IS THE CHALLENGE OUR YOUTH HAVE CHOSEN TO UNDERTAKE! They now are attending election processes, running for elected office, spending hours of every day educating themselves, challenging themselves and the system we have burdened them with to promote our own pacification. Most would rather sit on the couch with a pizza and a beer, watching their favorite commercials between 3 or 4 minutes of program interuptions. We should be ashamed for deserting our children as we have, ladening them with debt and dispair, video sex and violence as their babysitters while young, then chastising their rebellion for something better, different. Many chastize Ron Paul, call him looney, fringe, crazy. NOT our youth! They have found a messenger that excites, inspires and challenges their creative and passionate intellects! We have failed to give them anything of value to look foreward to, so they are now taking it for themselves..... and still again, we are doing all we can to keep it from them! SHAME ON US AMERICA! Yea, Young people liked Obama too and see what we got.

so you all believe Paul didnt actually APPROVE of those things written in his newsletters? interesting,,,, Im not suggesting whether I believe him or not, IM just running parallels in my mind of the guilt by association done in regards to Obama and Pastor Wright and people not believing he hadnt heard those sentiments in the Pastors sermons before This seems very similar, except the objectionable statements in question were from someone in Pauls EMPLOY and a paper he is said to have had to sign off on and they went on for several years,,,Im guessing maybe there are people who likewise dont Believe Paul when he claims ignorance of those statements,,,

His name might have been on the masthead, but there is a jr. editor to actually proof the stories. You believe Obama was born in Hawaii right?

Paul never accuses without proof, and hasn't run ANY smear ads, just brought up voting records and proven past issue stances....NEVER character slurs like have been thrown at him! He's a man of integrity, which is why the racial slurs against him were short lived.... only those who "wanted" to ever believed them! The presstitutes tried REAL hard to make them fly....but alas.....no wings on that bird!

The growing disdain for our failed two party system really pleases me. It makes me very happy to have people like Ron Paul in office and it should be our number one goal as a nation to see that 534 other people like Ron Paul get elected to congress.

Also, if Romney refuses to debate Paul, I will think even less of the man....I will question his ability to lead even more..... read closer and you will notice I wrote that my question had nothing to do with what I personally believe it was more in regards to how people believe or not believe what they wish because I remember the big deal made over Obamas 'associations' and I Was curious if the media seemed to focus in as much on Pauls....or if people who judged OBamas character by his PAstors also judged Rons by the content of his newsletters yes, I do believe in second chances and I beleive in looking at not JUST words but how and if actions seem to reinforce them I personally think some of Pauls statements and voting record match up with what was in his letters I never saw OBamas voting record as matching up with the 'offensive' things Wright said,, I also tend to discriminate by age and hold people MORE responsible and LESS likely to change the older they get,,,and Paul is a bit older than OBama,,,,

The biggest chicken hawk, warmongers known to man! McCain is a traitorous, empty suit rat that sold his soul to the devil, and turned his back on all other military POWs, vets and servicemen/women! It would rip what's left of support for Rmoney at the core or require a quadrupling of advertizing costs to recover. Hear Hear!!!! Maybe America will come to its senses before election time! Not likely, due to Mental Fluorosis. The Zombie apocalypse is here and it's the majority of America. I have to wonder how many of us realize there has been no actual economic recovery in more than 4 decades. What there has been, is an increase in the devaluation of the dollar, with pay increases always being just a little less than inflation, to such a degree that both parents now have to work to feed their families. Even now, it's crossing over the doubling point to such a degree that even with 2 jobs, many have to give up basics just to keep their family fed and this year, it's going to get a heck of a lot worse.

He's against criminalizing drug addiction. He's against wars, which ironically are the source of most drugs. Further, I do understand his objection to parts of the civil rights act, but only portions. It has to do with property rights. Everyone has a right to be an idiot on their own property.
