"I don't like Spiders and snakes and that aint what it takes to lub me...doo doo doo doo do!" PS: after all these years, i'm still confused what constitutes a "General topic" and what constitutes a "**** Chat" one???? I think it's been explained at least once. chit chat is more so non topic or self topic type of things and general is topics that don't necessarily fit else where. Something like that. lol

Rants, looking for dates, no discussion question posed..etc. General Discussion in NOT a directed forum. Its sole purpose is to catch what fits no where else.

If you got looksies, you wouldn't know now if you have it set for women. It will only show you the women who look, not the men. :)

My brother got bit by a brown recluse and his arm swelled up to the size of a grapefruit. it was creepy. lucly they got drugs into him in time to save the arm.. although if he lost the arm he coulda gotten a hook, and hooks are badazz! it must have been a different spider, they don't have an effective anti-venom form brown recluses yet...

It is not a anti-venom they use. Some physicians administer high doses of cortisone-type hormones to combat hemolysis and other systemic complications. Treatment with oral dapsone (an antibiotic used mainly for leprosy) has been suggested to reduce the degree of tissue damage. My dad and my son both have been bitten by a brown recluse... My dad had to have his lanced open then given drugs to lesson the complications from the bite...With my son they put him on antibiotics...
