People are such bigots! They never see the forest thru the trees! The very ones who preach racial inequality are the very ones who promote it, for without it, they are nobody! some are pastors, some are teachers, some are lawyers, some are accountants,, people who preach about inequality have all sorts of other capabilities many older activists came up in a very segregated unjust time when things were not as technological and simple trades were common and respected there are some who also have no recognizable skill, but they rarely reach national recognition that lasts for decades without being torn apart for their 'lack' of whatever,,,,, All are bigots! Byron Widner or Al Sharpton.......they feed on fear and separation, and nothing that helps the people they represent! |

He wants an example, a precident, a martyr, to promote his own agenda, and then along comes Treyvon.... problem is, the guy that shot him is also a minority, but he has light skin so let's blame them all! Since this occurance, Sharpton has had more airtime than Ron Paul who is running for POTUS! Don't even begin to try and make me believe it's not all about what Mr Sharpton can get out of it! I think that you are so mad about this case, that you would back anyone who says they support the "kid". everyone who observes or has opinions about race relations isnt 'angry' in fact, the people who seem to keep posting here seem to be the ones who wish to 'bait' others into continuing this topic I have pretty much been satisfied since I found that some attempt at justice was going to be made in a courtroom for the dead kid as to Sharpton, I dont know if he is racist or not, I actually have my own perception that all americans are racist on some level, but that doesnt make me any more 'angry' than my perception that women will generally be held more accountable for being 'proper' and keeping their legs closed than will men those are realities based upon my perception, I may or may not agree with them So Sharpton being a racist wasnt my point, my point was in THIS SITUATION, getting a platform for parents who have lost their child,, he did the RIGHT THING,,,, and that black and white issues are not the only issues he tackles just because they are the ones the media flock to,,,, |
