Topic: Princess seeking Knights in Shining Amore | |

So, here I was, 100 miles away from Sir _____, with no modern means of communication. I had to tell him that I would, indeed, enjoy meeting him for dinner following his jousting session with the Prince of Pompous. I could have rigged up a couple of tin cans with a string, and had one passed from hand to hand until it reached my former love, but then I thought, "Really?? If I do that I may as well use the Postal Service." They would take only slightly longer to deliver, if I chose Express Mail Guaranteed. Yes, my options were limited, so I decided to use the ancient art of smoke signalling. However, as I was building the fire, the tail of my long princess gown caught the flames! I fanned it frantically about, trying to quench the inferno at my hemline. I finally succeeded. In the process, I inadvertantly signalled for 20 pepperoni pizzas from the local Hut! It's amazing how many people know smoke signals these days. Anyways, my maid-in-waiting, Zaida, was able to salvage the dress. It is now a mini-skirt, and I must say, I look fabulous in it. I was able to unload the pizzas at a Frat party, and even made a healthy profit, due to the impaired mathematical skills of intoxicated 20-somethings. I donated it to charity, of course. Long story short, I missed my knight in shining Amore. Are you next?

Mmmm, well, you swindled the frat'ers,
then made the charitable donation. It would appear you have evened out your karma. This bodes well for your quest. Welcome, from the Oregon coast :-) |
