Ah, so you were exaggerating quite a bit. :) why you check her messages?

I get TONS of emails from men in their thousands. You try answering them and trying to keep up with a guy you're trying to have an email conversation with. Sooner or later, one of em will have to go looking elsewhere. I can't have three conversations at once. If i grab you're attention that you want me that badly, then please have patience. Otherwise it's bye bye from me.
i guess the guess think your such a lovable good looking lady:) cheers

What are these "messages" that you speak of?

I don't answer ones from men out of my age range, and those are all I get. I really don't understand why a young guy in his 20's would e-mail me when I'm clearly old enough to be his grandmother, and especially when they're on a different continent. Even if they "just want to be friends." I mean, get real.

When I asked if they read the part about the age, they tell me "baby, age is just a number!"

I won't send a message to someone until I have read her profile from beginning to end. I expect the same from those who message me. If you're really interested, you will want to know as much about me as possible before initiatiing contact....if you don't, then why bother?
"I get TONS of emails from men in their thousands."
Well, once a man hits 1,000 years of age, he will pretty well message everyone he can. It's hard for the old guys to get the attention of the young ones! |

Well not in their thousands. It's not like i'm a major celebrity. . About ten a day, more like.
Boy-O-Boy I'm jealous of you right about now.., if I can get just one e-mail a month I'll jump for joy.

If someone takes the time to message me then I will take the time to reply...... But you will get back what you put into it, I find it very easy to figure out how genuine a person is by their response . |

If I get a "hi" they will get a "hi" in return. If I get a well thought out message, I'll take the time to respond. |

It doesn't take much to send a decent message. Reading profiles helps out quite a bit. |

OK, Don't take this the wong way. I'm not picking on you. This is people in general. If you are talking to someone and you like that person, Why not hide your profile while you're dealing with this person? I mean, It just seems like common sense to me. That way you will not be getting tons of messages you can't answer or don't want to answer. That way guys in general will leave you alone. If it turns out that X guy is a prick,Un-hide your profile and keep going. It's what I do. That way for me, No woman ever feels ignored by me. I'm not having to make up excuses either. Which I know some people do. |

How do you " hide " your profile without deactivating?

simple fix your age category that you want your response from and then you won't get them, out of your age bracket lolll but age is just a number that is true :)when i was 23 i dated a 43year old lady that looked like 25 :) when i was 19 i dated a 31 year old lady that worked for Victoria Secret :) to me it depends on the 2 involved age hardly means that much as long as they are legal to think age matters so much thats negative thinking :)cheers
