Were in our living room last night. All up on the vaulted ceiling havin some kind of conference goin on. By the lights of course.
Now as unnerving as 55 of them (ya, we counted)  being in our LR was .. what's even more chilling is the fact that NONE of them were there this morning .........
 Things that make you go "hmmmmmm" .. So WTH did they go???

Moths are the most scary thing to me,
of everything. More than spiders or snakes. Moths. It is that wee flapping of their legs and wings as they get close to you in the night. Shuddddddddder. Psssst. During the day they hide in your clothes. |

Ya, I don't really give a rip about them (spiders are my fear factor) but my daughter can not stand them .. scared to death. I just don't like the dive-bomb the face routine.

Look at the bright side.... they weren't spiders! Oh trust me .. I thank GOD! But then I wouldn't have stayed here overnight. That is for sure. I wouldn't have stayed in the house for 5 mins.

They are so flighty .., hard to hit them straight on but heck I should try! Good thought.

Moths are so harmless (well, except for the browntail moth, but those are pretty rare). If you have to have a phobia about invertebrates, why not pick something worthwhile like mosquitos? Or bombardier beetles.

But most of them are way up in the vaulted ceiling which is probably 20 feet up?

Moths are so harmless (well, except for the browntail moth, but those are pretty rare). If you have to have a phobia about invertebrates, why not pick something worthwhile like mosquitos? Or bombardier beetles. Oh I'm not afraid of moths. Like I said, it's not me who is. Just one of my kids. But the face dive-bombing? That's wrong on so many levels. |

The crackling noise when they hit the zapper isn't quite as satifying as bubble wrap, but it's close

Colorado Springs gets them ever year, the Miller moths invasion. They are indeed harmless but they are a pain. |
