I saw it 3 weeks ago and I really like the movie.
Its a good thriller. Although its Ironic how can a goverment(in movie) allow to conduct Hunger games. Geeeez |

I took my 13 year old to the midnight screening the first night it screened in new zealand. We liked it so much the next day i bought the books.

Sadly my child wont read. She is visual, like her dad was. But the books wont be wasted. I love reading.

Flew through the first two books, on the wait list at the library for the third.
Enjoyed the movie, though it felt slow in a couple of places. A couple minor changes but not as bad as could have been. |

Yes I do agree anything to get kids to read.....I read a lot, but this movie was really Sad I really didn't enjoy it......it has already given me nightmares ......ive just had too much violence in my Life. : (

Enjoyed the movie mostly due to Jennifer Lawrence....She is a great "new" actor...I loved her role in "Winter's Bone"...

I saw it 3 weeks ago and I really like the movie. I liked the movie a lot, but I thought it deserved a stronger rating than PG. Its a good thriller. Although its Ironic how can a goverment(in movie) allow to conduct Hunger games. Geeeez There are 42 million children murdered every year without any government raising a finger, but I guess it's okay when the person doing the killing is a doctor. |

And I think you're thinking of Lord Of The Flies
