I will say his shell looks too angular to be a box turtle but I'm no turtle expert.
You sure this isn't the tortoise that beat the hare? |

Roberta, I'm not a turtle expert, although I've had one for about 13 or 14 years (since I found it in my daughter's closet). But does it have any webbed feet or markings on the face (like red on the sides) that could make it easier for Spider to identify without a pic?

Colorations, markings, etc. |

Red-eared slider.
It's semi-aquatic turtle and would enjoy a pool of water to swim around in. You can also get it some feeder goldfish from a pet store and put them in the pool and then you can watch the circle of life. EDIT: Make sure you wash your hands, they are known to carry salmonella. |

He likes to be underwater, and under a rock alot, but comes out to sun himself. Feed him goldfish and watch the circle of life? (im nature retarded, remember?) |

Thank you for all the info Spidey! You rock! Oh, one more question. Is there a way to tell if its a "Little ManOfewwords", or a "Little Miss ManOfewwords?". |

Thank you for all the info Spidey! You rock! Oh, one more question. Is there a way to tell if its a "Little ManOfewwords", or a "Little Miss ManOfewwords?". Yes, there are a few ways. It's front claws will be very long if it's a male and shorter if it's a female. You can also look at it's cloaca on it's tail, but the claw method should be easier to do. |

Kitten, just make sure that the goldfish are not larger than your turtle.
