....BACK TO ME!! OMG,,,,HES ALIVE!!! Turtle!! Guess what?? "Little ManOfewwords" is ALIVE!! He came crawling out of the ground, and asked me "why in the hayyyyall", I had a memorial for him, while he was hibernating??? Yayyyyyyy! My turtle is ALIVE!!!

What species is it? Hes a turtle that goes in and out of his shell, and apparently hibernates underground during the winter. There are hundreds of different tortoise species, it's perfectly normal to wonder about which one yours is. You have to be careful with winters. When they get cold their stomachs shut down and if it's full of food, the vegetation can ferment and cause their stomach to rupture, killing them.
