Let us know how you make out ok? The manicurist Iwent to refuses to do gels or acrylics any more. She said they are way to hard on the nails. She really likes this the best. That's what mine said, too. They don't stink or anything! And they are bone dry when you stand up to leave - immediately! Yeah thats really great.especially if you have a pedicure.Then you don't have to wear flip flops in the snow  My shellac pedi was 3 weeks old yesterday and still looks perfect. In about a week the growth will show at the base of the nails and it will be time to re-do them. But seriously...once a month for a perfect pedi? I'm going to the beach next weekend so we'll see how it stands up to sand abuse but I am thinking it will do fine. I wonder if the nail polish is special too , or is it just the shellac and UV light. If I could bring my own polish then I could do touch ups. Now when I had my solar nails..they used a gell on them and dried it under a UV light..is it the same thing? Except this is your natural nail. They do dry it under UV lights. |

I didn't like it on the fake nails...it sometimes was rough feeling around the edges..but I could use my nails as tools and did most of the time. |

I loved mine I kept breaking the thumb nail when I had acrylics - hitting it with a hammer or something. And my natural nails were RUINED when I finally took them off. |

Yay! You notice none of the boys are chiming in! |
