Topic: How to cook in a ziploc bag.... | |
---|---|
Get a microwave.
Get a ziploc bag and whatever you wanna cook. Throw it in the bag. Throw in spices or sauces. Leave it just a little unzipped to vent out steam pressure. Set a time of 30 minutes. Then set power level at 3. That's it. Repeat as necessary. 2.8 lb. roast...1 hour. 12 lb. bone in ham....3 hours. 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts with olive oil...1.5 hours Since a good friend showed me this trick a couple months ago,...I have seen the light. It is microwave slow cooking with no pans to clean and you can just ziploc the left overs. Note: I have wanted to post about this for a while but, I wanted to make sure that it was actually as it seemed. I swear....I have gotten the best f'n chicken from microwave slow cooking. |

Cook your meats first in the bag...then throw in the veggies. Just check it every half hour and you can't possibly over cook it or under cook.
It is literally the next greatest thing invented compared to sex. (scoff if you like....remember to sneer when you are scrubbing a pan and I am throwing away a ziploc.) :) Just try it....it is amazingly easy. We all got microwaves and plastic bags....I swear, you will be amazed. Takes a little longer than an oven but, it is way juicier. |
