It took 2 years to arrest Ramsey for his daughters murder only to be released without charges.... Do you want them to create one for Zim?

After looking at the evidence, listening to witness reports and even talking to the boys father who says the screams for help are NOT his son's, they have NOTHING to charge him with except for discharging a firearm....but then there is the "stand your ground" issue, and he was neighborhood watch and lisenced to carry....

Sounds to me like someone chose the wrong fight to get into, and paid dearly for it.....sad, very sad.

Update: 3/27: Information leaked out about the Trayvon Martin – George Zimmerman tragedy paints Trayvon Martin as the aggressor. I wonder if it will matter to the New Black Panthers.

…The Orlando Sentinel reported that George Zimmerman told police he lost 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in the neighborhood he regularly patrolled and was walking back to his vehicle last month when the youth approached him from behind.

The two exchanged words, Zimmerman said, and Martin then punched him, jumped on top of him and began banging his head on a sidewalk. Zimmerman said he began crying for help; Martin’s family thinks it was their son who was crying out. Witness accounts differ and 911 tapes in which the voices are heard are not clear.

Yesterday the Orlando Sentinel reported that Trayvon had two school suspensions, one for suspicion of theft and a second for pot smoking.

A witness account midway through this article is consistent with Zimmerman’s story.

Thanks to the New Black Panthers, this story is now less about Trayvon Martin and more about a rogue mob looking for vigilante justice without proof there has even been a crime committed.

The New Black Panthers, famous for standing at poll sites with billy clubs, have essentially issued a Fatwah against George Zimmerman, the 28 year old man who shot Trayvon Martin, possibly in self-defense.

The NBP’s, lead by Mikhail Muhammad, are offering a $10,000 reward for Zimmerman’s capture despite the fact that Zimmerman is neither missing nor wanted. Muhammad told the Orlando Sentinel that members of his mob are looking for Zimmerman themselves.

Muhammad said that their supreme leader, Dr. Malik Zulu Shabaz of Washington, D.C.is receiving donations from black entertainers and athletes. They hope to collect $1 million by next week.

They said they will detain him but look at the poster they issued and tell me this mob won’t do worse? When asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad said threateningly, “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

I didn’t have a problem with President Obama sympathizing with the Martin family though it is unfortunate he referred to race by saying if he had a son he would look like Trayvon. Also, shouldn’t Obama now be saying he won’t tolerate or encourage lawlessness? Why isn’t Eric Holder saying this is not acceptable since it isn’t? Their silence condones this violent and criminal behavior.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (which is a political-left organization) says the New Black Panther Party, a black-separatist group founded in 1989, is “virulently racist and anti-Semitic,” and its leaders have encouraged violence against whites, Jews and law officers. Read more: Freedom eden

This is another report that presents a different picture of what happened that night -
On March 16th, the Sanford police department released new details to the Orlando Sentinel. These details have been ignored or changed by the media.

1. The witness reports that George Zimmerman was on the ground and Trayvon is on top of him punching him.
2. The witness says that George Zimmerman was screaming and yelling for help.
3. Police arrive and find Zimmerman bleeding on his face and the back of his head. He also has had grass stains on his back. All this confirms the story told by Zimmerman and the witness.
4. Police play the 911 tape for Trayvon Martin’s father, who tells police that the voice screaming is not the voice of his son.

Trayvon was suspended from school at least twice. Once for suspicion of stealing and for bringing a screwdriver to school to use as a burglary tool. A recent suspension was for five days for possible pot smoking. Trayvon he might not be perfect as we have been lead to believe.

Zimmerman has already been convicted in the press by fools like Nancy Grace and that is also alarming. Nancy Grace interviewed Trayvon’s coach who spoke highly of Trayvon but I can’t in good conscience post it because Nancy Grace ruined the interview by convicting Zimmerman and claiming she heard a racial slur that the police didn’t. Someone needs to take that woman off the air.

It’s not just Grace, it’s many of the stations, print and Internet media who are putting Zimmerman through a trial by media.

Even Reutersblog.com claims that the facts are out there and racial bias continues in the U.S.

This is absolutely not true. Only the police have all the facts. Zimmerman comes from a racially-mixed family and it is not clear that this is a case of racial bias.

Let’s look at this case a little differently. Suppose a synagogue was firebombed and a Jewish group put a reward out for the capture of a Muslim they suspected of the crime even though the police were investigating and had not arrested anyone? What would happen then?

Things are often not what they seem. The facts presented by the media might not be accurate.

If Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin with malice, he needs to be punished to the fullest extent of the law, but the criminal behavior of the NBP’s and the trial by media in this case paints a sad portrait of what we have become in this country.
