There are so many bad things that have happened to people

I live in an apartment complex where there are at least a dozen registered sex offenders here...they live all over ...but we need to educate ourselves, familiarize ourselves with who they are and where the perpetrators are in our neighborhoods.

Wow that is very disconcerting to know...BUT if you ever watch Dateline's to catch a predator...You will see they are sick and are everywhere...They usually frequent sites where teens are located...Then you have the ones who target single mothers with kids...So it pays to be careful!!!!!!!!!

I did not know that. I guess if thats true, I have a pretty major issue with the government for not doing a better job of making sites comply. I would like to see a major witch hunt for these idiot freaks personally. That would really make my day.

Nope, I have no love for our government and would hate for them to get into my business anymore than they already do but still, there has to be some way of taking these weirdos down in a more efficient manner.

I used to work at this store that was selling clothing to predominantly teenaged kids. And we always had lots of people trying to solicit the girls (and even once a little boy) in the store!
The store finally got attention when it lead up to this girl took it to local news.
Its a dangerous world out there!

This whole thing boils down to personal judgement & looking out for your friends. The law says we can't deny rights to these people. We all need to watch our neighborhoods & watch out for the kids of our town. Getting upset does no good, know your rights & find out how to make the law work for you.

I agree to some point and I'm not saying to take the law into our own hands (although what a wonderful world this would be if we could) BUT, the laws have flaws and these slime bags, well some of the smart ones, take advantage of that. I'm talking more about online. Of course at home, common sense and good judgment should keep you relatively safe but there is always a possibility that you can become a target. Thats life.

If you have full knowledge of the law, you can use it FOR your advantage. Talk to a good attorney.

Ok, well I still say the laws are flawed lol. An attorney is only as good as the law and well, thats not good enough. I'm sure if you ask some of the victims of crime, they will also tell you that this system is flawed.

Oh don't even get me started! 3 years to court dates, lawyers, nasty lies, and the whole time the kids were being molested by someone else!F**k the laws, I want a shotgun!
