:D Well, at least it's kind of on-topic... let's call it satire.

I always wonder about news in the U.S. - on almost every full service channel... I wonder how you folks know what happens beyond Canada and Mexico at all...

My guess is most do not care to even try.

It's funny... here, you'll have about one third National news topics like politics... half is international affairs, and the rest is chitchat and sports... mostly sports... and even less chitchat when you watch pulic channels, which are still pretty big here... and news will make up two to four hours per day on full service channels... added up with news magazines...

On U.S. channels, I had the impression half of the time goes to chitchat... a quarter each to national news and sports... and if there is any time left, they'll mix in some international events, slightly beyond the chitchat level. And I don't count news of U.S. "expeditionary forces" abroad as international news...

Sounds about right, makes me ill to watch what we call news for more than a few minutes at a time.

Some of us have multiple sources. Some don't care.
