Ohh my goodness girl what ya working on? I just finished my bathroom today got one last rug to put in there and a couple of things to hang on the wall.... and it will be finished...

Ohh my goodness girl what ya working on? I just finished my bathroom today got one last rug to put in there and a couple of things to hang on the wall.... and it will be finished... My kitchen cabinets...two steps forward and one step back. I sanded just the base under the sink plus the two doors last fall. Then I stained them and decided I really would prefer them white. So several months of looking at white, I changed my mind - dang that woman's perogative! Walnut stain will be fine. (Partially because I just need to be done with that project!) I've been putting it off but today I decided to strip/sand all that I'd painted. Oil primer and enamel paint - egads it was a pain! I still have to do the flat front pieces but I took them off and they can be done OUTSIDE! My kitchen is half clean now. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING has to be wiped down and washed. Covering helped a little but it's not good enough for that kind of a mess. The trail of sanding dust migrated beyond there too. I guess it's time for a full-tilt spring cleaning (but not tonight! I'm beat and my wrist has had WAY enough of that hand sander!) |

Whooo hoo ya go girl.... shshsh too much for me...
All I did was re=paint the bottom of the cabinets below the sink and used spray paint for the vase's, trash can ect to the color I wanted and replaced shower curtain and accessories... did not want to repaint the bathroom too much work lol |

That's what motivated me to do my guest bath floors last weekend. I've got bathroom painting to do, too. I just can't face it now. I'm trying to just get started projects DONE. |

Well, folks...time for me to call it a night. I've got a busy day tomorrow - work, possibly a lunch with a friend from out of town, and after work commitments. Goodnight, Texas!  (Hey Vivian...will that picture make you dream of fish tacos?) Only if I have nightmares!!

Ended up visiting with a friend of mine I have not seen for a long time...worked with her for several years... and her daughter went to school with mine... not happy with the terms that brought us back together but yet it has made me do some deep thinking... If ya all could say a prayer for my friend Becky. Found out tonight she has cancer. She was told 8 months ago her cancer was in remission and should be for at least three years. She found out two months ago after only six months of remission it was back in her hip and spine... And on top of all that she is on the verge of loosing the house she has lived in for 16y years...  You know it!!! Prayers being sent!

Me too but I slept allot Friday and Saturday so I'm paying for it

Now going to look for the last minute things I want to hang on the wall in a couple of places in the bathroom and still need a few things for my bedroom that I re-painted 6 months ago....then off to the next project....my living room that one will take me a while have to save for the materials first...before I tackle it... |
