Give examples of each so that I know what you are talking about.

A traditional relationship is the whole Working man, and the wife stays home with the kids, cleans the house, cooks. That kind of thing.

And Modern is the opposite. lol

For me, it doesn't matter as long as the other person and I share the same faith.

I guess I am more modern in that I think the family should do whatever is best for the family. It doesn't have to be the man working outside the home.

However, when it comes to raising kids, I think it's very important to try to have one parent who stays home with them. I think putting kids in daycare at a young age should be a last resort thing. Not the plan from the beginning. When they get old enough to be in school the stay at home parent can get a part time job if they want. (Or finally get a nap in the mornings).

But, that's just my opinion after having 4 children and doing both.

That's a hard one to answer.
I am a little of both I suppose. I do all the cooking but I in no way think its the man or woman's job to do the house work.. it should be a shared adventure. However if u do the laundry I would love u forever lol... I hate laundry

I like to do the cleaning, too. It's sort of therapeutic to me to clean my home. Although I don't like picking up after my kids all the time. They have to clean up their own stuff. But, dusting, vaccuuming, laundry, cleaning the kitchen....I like doing that stuff.

to me its a choice that both parties make. I'm a great provider but will support her choice if she wanted to work or stay at home

Well, if you were living near me, then I'd let you have plenty of therapy sessions.

I'm a bit of both. Also would depend if the OH liked cooking (my late husband did and he was a very good cook) and housework. We both had to work so helped each other out with the household chores.

Have to admit I hate ironing and washing dishes. Got a dishwasher but no-one's invented a robot yet that can do the ironing, fold it and put it away. I live in hope though and when one is invented, I'll be first in the queue for it laugh
