why do men that are married think its a good idea to cheat or even to have a open relationship.. if they want to be honest and truthful to there mate then they better stay that way. i had a open relationship with my ex hubby way before we got married and i hated it. and he went to bed with someone that i knew and he looked at me and said we agreed. i may had at one point but i wasent happy . he just had a freaken ego problem that didnt quit, i had a guy the other day email me in tagg and he was happyly married to his best friend but yet he wanted to cheat.. that doesnt even make sense... i had a fling with a friend of mine along time ago as he was in a horrable marriage where they ended up getting a divorce later. but i ended that for i didnt feel right about it. and i still talk to him every now and then and i have known him for 27yrs. he even has express his feelings where i cant see myself with him. for one he has to many problems and i dont want to deal with those.. at least not his any how. im looking for more of a man that is willing to be emotionally supportive towards me where i can for him as well and willing to be by my side and not take pity on me do to my health issue..

if any of this even makes sense...drinker drinker drinker

Well girls I went with a married man .Yes I fell for the old lines about unhappiness, she doesn't understand me etc.He divorced his wife and I got the bastard. What comes around goes around. He was abusive, controlling and just plain cruel.I learned my lesson.I did get a beautiful son out of it so I guess God didn't think I was to bad a person.

Anyway some people have open marriages or they do the polygamy thing with the wife's approval. Its a life style like being gay,a hippie etc.If it's not for you avoid it.

Hi cutelildevilsmom,

I've been there, too, and more than once over the years I'm sorry to say; (I fell for the lines, too, the old "my wife hates me," "my wife doesn't understand me," "I'm only with her for the sake of the children," blah, blah, blah). Fortunately, the cheaters never left their wives for me, so I didn't have to find out what they were really like when not on their "best behavior." I'm sorry you had to go through the mill with your ex-husband, believe me, I wouldn't wish any of the cheaters I've ever known on anyone, friend or foe; (and, yes, I do feel sorry for their wives, being stuck with such lowlifes as life partners).

As you've stated, some people can deal with open, non-monogamous relationships, (and more power to them if this is a mutual decision between two loving consenting adults in a mature relationship), most of us, however, women especially, aren't wired that way.

Well. I've been married twice, but I don't hink I'd get married again. I was just unlucky.
My first wife died after eating some poisoned mushrooms. And my second wife died after suffering a fractured skull.

She wouldn't eat the friggin' mushrooms.

I would like to say something!!!!
Im 44 years old and never been married!!
The reason for that is never found the (ONE)
Ive had relationships that lasted for up to 5 years
but there was always something missin
couldnt tell ya what but there was
Now ive always wanted to be married, have the wife, kids,do the family thing!!I do have a wonderful son by the way
I date often but nothing lets say real.
My opion to many people jump in to marriage way to fast
for reasons that dont really matterFor guys or girls to cheat
lie leave or what ever tells you there not the one for you
And all that is left is sorrow heartache, dissapointment
betrayal and hate.
My family especially my mom cant wait to see me get married.
Even my son he saw what his mom did and agrees with me.
But they all understand why and what im looking for.
Marrage to me means an unbreakalbe bond between two people
like my folks,grandfolks,ect
So when i do find her she will be the luckyest women in the wourld, and I will be the luckyest man.
Bigsexy!!!
happy

why do men that are married think its a good idea to cheat or even to have a open relationship.

Pro 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

I have heard this mentioned as it seemed to be the right thing to do at the time. I have also heard it mentioned as who will it really hurt. It might be construed as ignorance is bliss or what she don't know won't hurt her. But it can hurt you and just as soon as she finds out it can really hurt you. It can hurt you in the form of betrayal and guilt. It can hurt her in the form of mistrust and jealousy. For just as soon as you open the relationship with another you can close the relationship with her. It is no longer just you and her any more. Since the relationship between you and her has been damaged it can make the counselor who tries to resolve this in the same relationship as the woman who the man cheated with. It is like opening up Pandora's box, in other words. Once it is open; It is open much in the same way as Humpty Dumpty after he fell. Because all of the King's horses and all of the King's men can't put Humpty Dumpty back together, again.

i had a guy the other day email me in tagg and he was happyly married to his best friend but yet he wanted to cheat.. that doesnt even make sense...

Seems like a contradiction to me, too.

Just my take on it.flowerforyou
