Realizing that I haven't been able to truly relax in years. And, that it no longer comes naturally to me. Even when everything is right and good, I feel a low level of anxiety since my divorce. Like I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop and the next traumatic event. I wonder how I can fix this.

Like I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop and the next traumatic event. I wonder how I can fix this. Do you have a hobby to help relax you? Something to help you relax your mind and spirit. Yoga perhaps? sleep. more sleep? i sleep too much. o.O but i'm tired. but i do nothing! O.o i should visit a doctor. Sounds more like you are lethargic/fatigued/bored and not so much tired. Do you have any other hobbies or activities besides painting you enjoy? Sports, dance, etc... That might help. |

Do you have a hobby to help relax you? Something to help you relax your mind and spirit. Yoga perhaps? The writing tonight helped a little. But, yeah, you read my mind. I need to do my Yoga and meditation more diligently. I haven't done either in almost a year. Not good. |

no such thing as me being bored; my brain never shuts off. i run. it's a little hard to play sports by myself. o.O Still sounds like you are bored to some degree or another. Just because your brain never shuts off, does not mean it is not getting the kind of stimuli it/you desire(s). Also, it does not necessarily have to be a sport. You could get into juggling, yoyos, acrobatics, karate, musical instruments, or whatever else is out there you might be interested in trying or learning. Maybe you are just in a rut and looking for something new to interest/challenge yourself. Sometimes a change of routine can do wonders for you. |

the yoyo museum is near me. :p i'm going to go live under a bridge. how's that for mixing things up? Will you be harassing billy goats? (I already know that joke will be lost on most) What happened to that cabin in the middle of nowhere? How can I properly come visit you if you are just hanging under a bridge? Also, watch out for hobos... they get very territorial. Yoyo museum! Sounds awesome! Let's go! If it is more than one room in a converted office building, it is obvious I am not giving yoyos enough credit. |

XD no. i don't get that excited over such things. |

XD no. i don't get that excited over such things. I am sure you will. But it will be loaded with food items and possibly lice most likely. Besides, how do you know I don't have a beard? And there are enough trolls on mingle2 to get more than anyones fill. What does one bring as a bridgewarming gift? I could bring you a blanket for those cold nights I suppose... but honestly I think you would get more use out of a taser. You like painting so maybe a new stool and easel so you could work on some landscapes. I was going to bring you flowers and knickknacks for the cabin, but unless you get shelves and a desk under that bridge it might be rather pointless no? So a taser, stool and easel it is. I will say a bridge is a good choice for those whom are broke. Have you considered hiding in train cars? I can still get you the stool and easel for a trainwarming gift, and you can see the countryside. Somehow I can't imagine the yoyo musuem being a must stop spot on any agenda, but maybe there is more than meets the eye going on inside. I really insist you go and issue me a full report on the visit, I am pretty curious now. I am looking online at what I assume is it, turns out it is free to visit. You just have to go! So what do you get excited over, besides beards? |
