Here I sit alone tonight, Waiting for the tea in sight, To boil n brew from this cold pot, Enough to quench this lonely lot. To each of you who wish to drink, Sit with me now just to think, Of the times that have passed, Memories long that always last. Longer now from this earthly pew, I write these words and think of you, All the friends I've made here, Closer to my life is clear. Thank you all, we are close friends, Tears we shed to the bitter ends, Ends of time and passing grace, Passing times within this space. Now this space must last forever, Here it is a sweet endeavor, To bump this thread to the top, Of religion and not stop. Stop the bickering, its a waste, Stop n listen without haste, Peace and tranquil evermore, He has taught us open the door. Doors of life that are closed, Never open and are disposed, Like beliefs throughout the night, Hear the whisper from the light. Hear a whisper in your ear, He will guide you it is clear, Clearer now if you need A Holy book you can read. It can answer every word, Close your eyes to be heard, Listen closly as you read, Prayers heard softly, answered in deed. Now I close a simple poem, Now my thoughts forever roam, In and out of the night, As I read about the light. For ALL my friends who read this, Love has many more spellings than just 4 letters. ![]() ![]() G |
