Awwwww. I'd love to be standing on the beach and see that. The seals pup on Salishan Spit, just up the street from me. Tourists have a hard time leaving them alone. So we throw stuff at them. The tourists, I mean :-)

No place like home: My mother-in-law goes there every year. I think she's on the picture. To the Newbie, welcome home. To the other newbie, too. And also to the third newbie. Back to the picture: Mom-in-law boasts every year that the resort on the pic has THE ENTIRE SWIMMING POOL FILLED WITH FREE DRINKS!!! She is an oddball, her being a Canadian. Here we club those things to bloody and dead. (Canadians. Here in Kansas City, Arkansas.)
