Darkness falls, as silent tears,
Echo through the halls.
Hearts so endearing, over the phone.
Both, setting in their homes all alone.
Racing passions bouncing around their sculls.
Dreaming in their fantasies, within their cold damp walls.
Wanting to believe, needing to belong.
Playing over and over, their best loved song.
Making movies in their minds, all those hot sexy kinds.
Thousands of miles apart, believing in each others hearts.
This is the Internets Exotic illusions of lure.
Drawing us in, as their voice speaks with love so pure.
Loneliness being fed, laying there alone in bed.
Both so horny, both so cold and apart, both, playing out their parts.
Six months of infatuations, living out their expectations.
Then one night here on a page, their words and minds turn to rage.
Falling short on every detail, now one of them wants to bail.
Posts are made, about being played, or the fact, they never got laid.
Love turned to hate, now both want to wait, is this our fate.
You see, sometimes we want so much just to be held.
We will look past, all their angry words yelled.
Still thinking, they said they loved me so..
You just wanted to feel their kiss, letting your love grow.
Its not your fault for wanting to believe.
We feel so alone, it's our on desires, that really deceive.


So many lives on here, fall for just printed words on a page.
Loneliness, their bodies and minds felt locked in a cage.
I REALLY LIKE YOU, I LIKE YOU TO, within their hearts, they flew.
Hoping and feeling so bright, excited, and new.
Now both expressing their costs, saying, IF I ONLY KNEW!!

PLEASE hold your hearts in reserve, until you really meet.
For its that LOVE found there and then, that NEVER skips a beat.

Terry, yes a true write. But it's also true that not all internet intimacies end in anger. Sometimes...they just end. In rare cases they even end with pleasant thoughts of the other person and a genuine hope that the other person can one day find their "one".

Thanks for helping me know you read this and also that I did leave out the POSITIVE side of the GOOD MEETS and TENDER SWEET BREAK-UPS where their IS NO DRAMA,,and folks just knew,,their love wasn't there,,BUT,,they stayed friends and moved on,,,

Truth is, I don't spend a lot of time in the poetry forum.

But when I'm in here, and something grabs my attention, I don't have a problem with making a comment on it.

And yours is good, and I like it a lot. The imagery is practically cinematic in some lines. I don't know much about poetry, but I know what I like.
