of being online I received 5 emails from 5 different people all from other countries. Anyone else get a lot of this?

scammers have their own schedules. It tends to go in bursts here too. report and blockety block. Just curious, how do you decide to report the emails? I get them as well, but they never really say anything reportable. |

I almost..ALMOST feel bad for anyone who is actually single from Nigeria. I block any woman from Nigeria instantly.

Its not that I have anything against Nigerians or Indians. My cousin's husband is Nigerian, they frequently visit Nigeria. However, there's LOTS of scams coming out of Nigeria. And quite frankly, when you're talking about a dating site, even it's legit and not a scam, I'm just plain not interested in dating someone from Nigeria or any other country besides the one I live in.

They were all from Nigeria and India. Same happened here a few years back, but they all stopped when I ask them to send me money to come see them......

I actually went on Google translate and typed in a message saying "if you are from Nigeria, don't email me" and posted it in Afrikaans on my profile...
So far, it has worked. (knock on wood) Singmesweet, if you want to block someone who emails you, you can do it with having to report them. The link is right under the body of the email, on the right.
