Hi folks,

With some of the new forums that we've created recently, I think there's some confusion around where to post certain types of topics.

Topics that are chatty in nature, i.e. topics like "Hi", "What's everyone doing tonight", "Who's online", etc. should be posted in the "Coffee Houses, Bars, and Other Chit Chat" forum. We want to move these topics out of General Discussion and into the Chit Chat forum.

General discussion should be reserved only for topics that don't fit in any other forum.

We're not trying to be anal about this, but its really more of a courtesy to other members. When people post in the correct forum, we can ensure that members only have to browse through topics of the type they are interested in without wading through other non-related topics.

So please everyone - try to make sure to post your topic in the correct forum, particular chat threads.

By the way, we're working on some better moved topic tools so that it's more clear when a topic has been moved. Hopefully that will help teach everyone what the appropriate forum for a topic is.

Maybe there can be a color code to it, like a chatty ones can have blue borders, and the sex threads can be red, and general can stay orange? It might be easier.

I think you're still going to have some confusion here, especially with the description for General Discussion as; "Talk about anything here". Perhaps you should move it down a few, and place your new chatting forum ahead of General Discussion? I don't know if it's just me, but as it stands right now, it's difficult to distinguish between the two forums.

Or how about just "Talk about anything which doesn't fit elsewhere" here.

Or a better way to phrase it, somehow...

And still no llama forum....

Some great ideas in here - I'll try changing the description of General Discussion and also moving it lower on the forum list. This really should only be for topics that don't fit anywhere else. Let's see how that works...

Hmm that looked kind of weird so I moved General Discussion back to the top but changed the description. Let's see how that works first before moving it to the bottom.
