Topic: Something in my basement....

Kerry....NOTHING has been moved down there!! I know where I put things and nothing has been changed around, but a door that was LOCKED TIGHT got "closed" from the other side... I agree with the other posters who said set up a cam or recorder. wow that scarey another person agreeing with me i don't usually get that lol

I think the reason it is scaring me right now is because there have been a few break-ins around here and I am here by myself, for the moment. I think if I saw them on tape right now, I wouldn't want to stay here, even though I have been here with them for so long. The homes here are built on former battlegrounds from both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars and we know spirits have been around. My nephew saw a few, both on my property and at his house a few blocks away but usually they are quiet. I am wondering if they are "upset" that we cleaned things out of the basement....all we did was make more room for them to hang out in, got rid of some clutter.

Keep a careful log. (time, date, what, etc.)

burn lots of sage and smudge the place while blessing it- do this at least once a week to the entire house...but ****..if i was u, id be doing that everyday until it stopped then once a weeks after that

Keep a careful log. (time, date, what, etc.) Spot on, that way you can see if there is a pattern or a certain time these occurances happen, it may be your right you may have removed something so matve try an evp session, as well as setting up a motion camera it will only record when there is movement. If you do try this dont do it alone have some one with you.

There is absolutely no evidence of any kind of ghost or spooky thing ever appearing anywhere on the entire planet. So rest assured, there is another more reasonable explanation.

I have lived in this house for over 21 years now and I have heard random noises from my basement for a while. This is nothing that I can put an explanation to, like a knocking from the oil burner or something but it has been few and far between.....until lately. My daughter came over to help clean out the basement a few weeks ago and did a pretty good job throwing things out. The next night a can that was in a "plastic bag dispenser" fell out and bounced down the flight of stairs. It had to go up and over the side of the plastic holder but nothing else had been touched in the holder or fell out. Last night, I turned out the lights and then came back out to the kitchen to get a drink but when I was in line with the end of the wall where the basement door is around the corner, I heard the door get pulled closed and a bag hanging off the handle was moving.....the door has a slide lock on it and doesn't rattle at all when you press on it. The slide lock WAS locked so there was no way it could have been opened from the other side and nothing was in the bag that could have rattled it. I think we disturbed "someone" in the basement. Have your animals been acting strange or anything? I use my cat to indicate any kind of spiritual activity. Animals, especially cats are more in tune to that stuff.

You could, however, show me some which would make me think you are irrational. Everything, absolutely everything, you think you could show me as some kind of proof, will have some kind of rational and plausuble explanation. Please go ahead and show me this ** if you want to.

In a house my ex and I rented many years ago, we heard noises in the attic. Never really paid them any mind. One weekend we were exploring up there and found this cool Old antique chest. We cleaned it up and brought it down stairs. That same night we heard walking, knocking and creaking noises all over the house. This was a 130 yr old farm house. This went on for 3 nights. We put the chest back up in the attic the fourth day. That night it was......... Quiet in the house!!!!!! I don't mess with stuff.........anymore!!!! There is an old hope chest down there that has been there since I bought the house.....I have never opened it or done anything to it in all this time... I'm thinking that might even be there after I move out of the house. why not try opening the chest and see what is inside? or get raid of it... I believe in ghosts, but they don't have right to disturb your sleep, it's YOUR house, you bought with YOUR money, all you need do is get raid of the things that are not yours and order them to leave YOUR house. period!! unless you really mind them living with you.

XD its not the tree hugging thats the issue...its the kissing and touching that's creepy 0.o
