Every decision we make has some selfish motavation. If in you're selfishness, YOU make others happy too...... HOW can that be wrong???????  
I agree. I am going to do what makes me happy and if I can make someone else happy in the process; that is just icing on the cake. Gravy on my.....Biscuit!!!!!! Now why does gravy and biscuits sound so good to me right about now? 
I don't know......But now I want......Cake!!!

Happiness means a multitude of various things to different kinds of people. I can't think of anything better than being able to write, sing and perform music and to have someone to share it with. I could spread happiness all if around if that did it for me.

Is it wrong to find your happiness in others? I would say it's delusional. If you look for your happiness in other people, you are going to be disappointed. Over and over and over. Happiness -- in my opinion -- must be entirely self-derived, self-generated, and self-rooted. No one should put that kind of responsibility or expectation on another person. totally noone else MAKES us happy, but people can sure drain the happiness we make for ourself,,,lol |

Is it wrong to find your happiness in others? Whether its caring, loving or friendship. Noticing them. Does it make you a selfish person to want to make others feel happy and have the happiness returned?  I can tell you this much,,as YOU do that,,and do THAT and DO THAT,,here I have lived THAT,,and it is at times so powerful of all that you have to give. That it starts taking away part of who YOU ARE..THIS WORLD,,feeds off of others NEEDS,,and the giving, seldom is returned,,yet,,we can't change who God made us as,,to be..
SO we go forward,,until we have nothing left of who we were to continue

The Nihlists and other crank philosophers like to claim that doing things to help people because humanitarianism leads to subjective happiness constitutes "aggression", but I don't take that stuff seriously.
