I made the mistake of signing onto Mingle from my mother's house. She has created an account and is reading everything I post. I feel like I have lost Mingle because she is a psycho. There is no fun in it for me anymore knowing that this crazy 71 year old woman who is masquerading as god knows what is reading all my posts. She has pretended to be a man before on the internet to scam women into liking her and giving her attention.

..can't you change your password(s)?

She created her own account and is hitting the number under my name and logging in as a false identity.

You can resolve that by sending in an IP ban request to the admin of this site but it would mean you will nog be able to access it from your mums place. You can also opt to warn her about the internet shaking law which I think is a misdemeanor in most states.

IP ban wont do much but block the IP not the person or account.

I would say report her, but I'm not sure if there's much Mingle could do unless she violated TOS.

Oh, and your forum posts are public and accessible through Google, you don't need an account to read them.

An IP ban would disable that computer from acceding the website woot

If it keeps that IP, but that's not likely the case.

Good she should know she wasted even more time creating fake accounts unnecessarily.

It all just makes me want to post stuff like I am the biggest schlore on mingle and an IV drug user, etc. etc. I mean if she wants to spy on me I might as well make it interesting for her.

I'll give you a list of depraved horror movies so you can talk about them in the movie section.

As another member suggested....change you password on your Mingle account. If you logged into your email on that computer, change that too.

Once the password is changed, she wouldn't be able to access your account any more.

You can email Mark with the user name in question and explain what is going on

I haven't seen anything that you have posted that you should be ashamed or embarrassed by. Her duty to guide you on the right path is over, and from your posts it seems like she has done a great job. She needs sit back and let you live your life now, perhaps have a talk with her about the boundaries that have been crossed, and how you feel, hopefully she would listen and respect that, if not, I'm not sure what to suggest.

One last thing to take into consideration which may seem harsh but does affect people is her mental state. Does she suffer from dimentia which can and does effect peoples ability for sound judgement which can lead to stalking and various other odd behavior. Other than that the lovely yellowrose hit it on the head. Kudos for admin and the rose of Texas.

Edit:

Nevermind. Did some research, it appears to be a glitch in the system from previous emails. It's listing the timeframe wrong for some reason.
