You could tell them to all join Mingle2.
Then you could email each other and use
the emoticons.
Which are self explanatory.

Welcome, from the Oregon coast :-)

Well, smile a lot at them, and smile silently. Works better than speech with a foreign accent, esp. in the present ethnicity-eccentric and -expurgatory (not ex-purgatory!!) climate in Europe.

Sorry to give you a heartache... the trees are not there any more. Been cut down and burnt, in a desparate attempt by the US government to stop the killing of the amazon rain forest and to preserve wildlife.

This is the real reason why I joined this site, actually. Someone guy from Down Under told me that girls are better to love than trees. I gotta find out before I die.

He said that if it weren't for the desert (and trees being scarce), he would never have learned either, but he was sqeezed out of getting near any tree by his male peers, so in desparation he decided to give women a "go". He said, "Once you try a woman, you never go back."

I think tagalog is the ticket. Or Urdu. Mm-mm, those gutteral consonants.

Norweigian is nice to learn too... but certain things in Swedish (that are nice) might sound like an insult in Norsk lol

Gosh! I did not realise that! I went there when I was 18, traveled from texas to Oregon (was a bartender went to bartending school in texas). I remembered Portland was very quiet in some parts and I met rednecks lol also i find it nice to go hunting there too!

Wux is kidding you, Canadians will do that,
Portland is ever fascinating, and no doubt
as you found it :-)

I see in the news that Sweden got a
spectacular light show from
the solar flares.
