What I have seen in counseling people is they would rather live with the devil they know rather than have to strike out on their own and deal with the devil within. Bottom line is they leave and still are not happy then tey have to accept that they are really the one causeing their unhappiness.

No, I don't think miserable people should stay together ONLY for the children. No I don't think children should be used as pawns for revenge or material gain. It happens ALL the time. Double agree. However, I wasn't mentioning using the kids as pawns for revenge or anything.. |

I'd rather confront my own demons, over trying to conquer someone else's while living with my own.. ..or.. ..make a mutual commitment to conquer each others demons together. |
