Topic: Critics of occupying criminals out of control | |

I'm beginning to feel like Rodney King. Can't we all just get along? (I know we can't, but some people don't even seem to try I second that. This is why I say we all need to stop pointing fingers and projecting blame. Everyone is looking for a scapegoat when in truth, we are all to blame. Our sons and daughters grow up, become successful, and then move on to running or having key positions within the banks, the corporations, and the government. The big bank conspiracy is a hot topic globally these days. The collapse of the Twin Towers conspiracy has been a global hot topic. The Illuminati/Free Masons conspiracy has been a global hot topic for decades. The U.S. is not the only country where people believe rumors and misinformation to be truth. And yet, these foreigners have influence over people within our country. Our government is OUR problem. The Twin Towers are OUR problem. The Federal Reserve System is OUR problem. The Occupy movement is yet another foreign incursion influencing the thoughts and actions of people in the U.S. I'm not trying to cast stones. I'm just trying to view things from outside the box while connecting the dots. I have repeatedly seen the word Zionism thrown about lately in relation to all of the above EXCEPT the Occupy movement. The Occupy movement has much in common with all of the anti-Zionist conspiracy thinkers. I've done some research on the Federal Reserve System, and much of the conspiracy claims are bunk. On the other hand, some of Ron Paul's claims about the Fed actually hold true, emphasis on the word "some". That doesn't make all of his views on the Fed true at all, and he shares a lot of common views with ALL of the groups above, including the Occupy movement. I personally think there is more going on than meets the eye. Not a conspiracy, just a lot of disinformation being shared by several unconnected groups, basically like a recruitment field day for every activist or conspiracy theory group I can imagine. What that means is, WE are the ones choosing to believe all this crud. WE are buying into a different system of belief which actually makes us LESS educated - the very thing that conspiracy groups claim the banks and the government are trying to do, i.e. dumb down the populace. It's a self-sustaining cycle with a downward spiral. No one forced this upon us. We are doing it to ourselves. Therefore, it is up to us to break that cycle, and that means stop looking for a scapegoat and accept how our own actions have brought us to this point. This is why I am beginning to tire of these threads - I don't like having to type long posts defending myself or explaining my views. It's very time consuming, both for myself and the reader. So I've begun making the conscious decision to limit my involvement in these topics. I made a choice to not spend so much time embroiled in argument with people who either will not admit their own faults or who want to bludgeon me into submission. Now I will exit the thread again. ![]() |
