I didn't do a massive search or anything, but there are 30 threads about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. If you want to discudd th books ending or anything spoiler related, I as that you do it in a clearly marked thread like the one I have here...:)

This way no one can complain ( including me ) about being spoiled.


Anyway, I am still only half way through....So amazing this far.

I hope everyone is enjoying it as much as I am.

Well my nephew has all the books and has not seen the new movire that came out so I'm taking him in a hour to go see it.

I finished it about 1.5 hours ago. It's really good. I don't plan to offer any spoilers, but all the spoilers that I saw before the book was released were total BS.

I think so far it is the best of all the books!

I finished it last night, really great. I won't offer any more specific opinions, thought, spoilers etc. but if anyone wants to discuss it privately, I'd love to. Now, I have to get busy and do everything I didn't do yesterday and last weekend (out of town last week).

who's harry potter.?

I haven't finished yet, I am just in the middle of The Battle of Hogwarts... Man is this book good or what! I have slept 4 hrs this weekend... and it was last night between midnight and 4:30 this morning... I am running on pure adrenaline and coffee...

They best is yet to come alada....

I finished it last night. My favorite book hands down... none of the others come close.

oh that little harry potter really grew up to be a good looking young man huh?

I am actually shaking with anticipation... It's so hard not to stop working and sneak out to the ladies room...

Just finishd it... the last horcrux, was not a total surprise, I sort of had the feeling, but wasn't sure, I thought it took a spell to make a Horcrux... And the hallows seemed more a cursed than something worthy... far too dangerous.

The deaths, that was devastating, specially of "the couple"... I won't say anymore so not to spoil it...

I finsihed it last night..........LOVED IT!!! To me it is the best out of the 7!!!!!!

SINCE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR THE SPOILER, HERE IT GOES:

I am so going to spoil it now:

Early in the book Mad Eye Moody dies under the attack of the Death eaters, Hedwig dies too. George (the twin) loses an ear. Dobby dies.

Snape dies, killed by Voldemort. During the Battle of Hogwarts, Fred dies, I believe killed by Bellatrix Lestrange. Lupin and Tonks, who'd gotten married and have a baby boy (Harry is the godfather) also die in the same battle. Bellatrix tries to kill Ginny Weasley, and Mrs. Molly Weasley engages her in a duel... She is one pissed b-witch... and she kills Bellatrix.

Harry dies... but since he is the last Horcrux (as Voldemort transfered a piece of his soul during the murdering of his parents, unknowingly) Harry can't die, as long Voldemort lives and viceversa. Harry confers with Dumbledore in a place between life and death (at least that's what I think it is)and he decides to go back and face Voldemort, and he kills him, once and for all.

Snape turned out to be on Harry's side, after all. The death of Dumbledore had been planned by Dumbledore and Snape, Dumbledore forcing Snape to kill him, he was dying anyway, because of the ring horcrux, so they used his death as an advantage to make Voldemort trust Snape even more.

Harry, Ron and Hermione save Malfoy's life, not once but twice, turning him not into a friend, but at least not a foe, either.

Harry marries Ginny and have 3 children: James, Albus Severus and Lily, Albus Severus resembles Harry in every aspect, he is the only one that has Lily's eyes...

The book is her best work in this series, right up there with Goblet of Fire.

Best Book by far. All the moments I wanted in the series, I got.

I thought I was going to be chewed up for this spoiler... But if you notice I have left things out... like why Snape was really on Harry's side... and why Petunia hated the magical world so much...
